IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO BE FOLLOWED

  1. All users must use lawqa.drdlr.org.za to access LAW QA, including DLRRD officials via the Intranet.

  2. New users will receive a system-generated username and password. Passwords can be Reset by users if desired by clicking on the Reset Password link and following the prompts to specify a new personalised user-chosen password in the prescribed format.

  3. User accounts will be locked out after 3 or more unsuccessful login attempts. To Unlock an account, the user must send an e-mail request to all the LAW System Administrators: law.system@dalrrd.gov.za.

  4. Passwords will automatically lapse every 30 days and have to be Reset by the user following the procedure in item 2 above.

  5. Accounts will automatically be Suspended after 90 days of user inactivity.

  6. To Reactivate a Suspended account, users must submit a completed Manager's Endorsement form available in Step 1 of Apply For Access To Site by sending an e-mail to all the LAW System Administrators listed in item 3 above. Please don't submit an online application.

  7. A Simultaneous Logins message is displayed when trying to log in on a second pc with the same user details. It is also displayed when a user did not click on Logout before closing the browser or last open LAW tab, or when there is a time-out/page crash before logging out - users then have to wait approximately 30 minutes for the server to release their session before they can log in again.
